DESTRUCTION / RESILIENCE, 2025 -

Installation, sculpture murale

The body, marked by memory and transformation, is at the heart of this series. Exploring destruction as a creative process, these works question the violence inflicted on women's bodies and the resilience that follows.

On raw linen canvases, plaster cracks, burns and fragments, bearing traces of buried histories. Testimonies of women who have survived sexual and domestic violence emerge through the material, sometimes legible, sometimes partially erased. Canvas is lacerated, plaster altered, translating a tension between vulnerability and strength, disappearance and resistance.

The alteration of support and materials echoes invisible wounds, highlighting what remains after violence. From this destruction emerges a form of resilience, a voice that persists, refusing to be forgotten.

"I told him I didn't trust anyone, that I trusted myself. He thought it was a conversation between us. The next day I went to see my father and told him that I had decided to divorce him, not that I wanted a divorce, and that they should know."
